How To Get Linux
This page has some resources for both purchasing low-cost distributions of Linux, or where you can obtain the CD images (called ISO files) in order to make your own CDs or boot floppies.
You can also purchase boxed sets of Linux (often including manuals) through FrooGle : Linux or your local computer software store. Often, LUG members are able to purchase distributions directly at a discount.

- This little startup last November was discovered to be incubating in the Rolla, MO area.
- They have over 50 distributions available for as little as $2 per CD (shipping is included)
- They have commercial distributions as well, such as SuSE and Mandrake
- They plan to have 7 distributions of BSD available as well
