XandrosAndUSBXandros and USBThe Linux kernel modules hardware detection in Xandros 2.0 has given some people trouble with USB devices, which had been working perfectly under Xandros 1.0. (An SIS735 chipset with an AMD CPU). A bit of trial and error with the boot params listed in the leaflet (and also at http://support.xandros.com/kb-view.php?topic=51) led to solution ACPI4, below. You may have luck with one of the others.

With this both the USB devices and the monitor power management work. Also see XandrosBootOptions to install with these options to start with. Another option is to edit these options in the file /etc/devices/cmdappend.inf to preserve your settings even through future Xandros hardware detection, which will re-write your lilo.conf and remove your changes. After editing /etc/devices/cmdappend.inf, run 'detect detect_disks', followed by 'fooze', and you should be good to go.
