Disabling the refresh in XFM

Unfortunately, there is no way to change the frequency of the refresh.

However, you can turn the auto-refresh completely for a particular folder.

To do this, open using your favourite text editor the following file:

/usr/share/apps/XandrosFileManager/cfm.exclude

and add names of the folders you want to ignore during auto-refresh in separate lines.

This will disable the XFM refresh for those folders. There may be the ability to use a cfm.exclude file in ~/.kde/apps/XandrosFileManager/cfm.exclude but this has not been tested.
