This website is using a very useful and easy-to-use "engine", called a Kwiki.
The two major ways that most peope will use the site are:
- To find something.
- To do this, simply enter a word into the search box at the top of the page and press enter.
- To edit a page.
- Any page can be edited simply by clicking the "EDIT" button at the top and bottom of every page in the Kwiki.
- You probably want to head on over to the Preferences page to create your KwikiUserName and attribution page.
- You may want to check out KwikiFormattingRules before you edit a page to learn the simple markup used in creating these pages.
- Or, just edit any page and see how to do it by example!
Please feel free to add your own contributions to ArchLUG - LinuxByExample.
Here is a page template that you can copy to the new command example page that you create:
= Linux By Example
----
== The "cat" command
List the given file on STDOUT:
cat <filename>
--KwikiUserName
Or, just rename an existing page and change the different parts.
